Adventures in showbiz (part 1)

While our ethos is about valuing every aspect of the performing arts – from singing into your hairbrush to making a career of it –  and we think our schools allow the Famous kids to come and express themselves with no expectations. However, we also want to make sure we provide for the 415ers who ask us for real-life industry experience. Over recent weeks, this has seen us liaising with the BBC to ensure a group of children could visit the set of CBBC’s new production ‘The Dumping Ground’. Hot on the heels of our work on Tracy Beaker, we took a group of children to spend the day on-set with all of the main cast. It couldn’t have gone better: the sun was shining and spirits were high. Thanks to the BBC we also all got given a fab goodie bag with cool headphones and signed pictures too – bonus!
