Our Company

Our mission statement

Famous 4.15 teaches classic arts in a dynamic and contemporary way. We offer dance, singing and drama training that is relevant and exciting in an environment where every child is valued and respected. We nurture, encourage and believe in individuality.

Our ethos is simple: everyone can have his or her chance to shine. We aim to ensure that the children and young people we work with feel empowered and confident irrespective of ability, age, gender or socio-economic status. Accessibility, tolerance and respect for the individual are at the heart of what we do.

Our values

Famous 4.15 is:

•Responsible: Protecting the well-being of children in our care is paramount.

•Fresh: We are vibrant, energetic and constantly evolving.

•Flexible: We offer a tailored approach within a structured framework.

•Welcoming: We believe every child can shine, each in their own way.

•Transparent: We are open about how we work and welcome feedback.

Keeping children safe is the most important part of our role and it underpins everything we do. This means that we recognise our legal and ethical obligations to safeguard the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of the young people in our care.

We believe working with children and young people is a privilege and that they deserve to be inspired and excited by what we offer. We believe, therefore, that what we offer should constantly evolve. While we do not want to lose the value of more traditional approaches to teaching performing arts, we work hard to continually re-interpret these methods to maintain their relevance to contemporary society.

We know that while some young people come to us simply for a few hours of fun once a week, others are looking for comprehensive, accredited foundation training in the performing arts. We work hard to cater to all. Our focus is on learning through enjoyment, while ensuring each child participates in a way s/he feels comfortable with.

We want all children to feel valued and respected. We work hard to create an environment where children can learn at their own pace and provide their peers with the support, space and encouragement to do the same. All our teachers believe in equality, diversity & human rights.

We want you to have confidence in the way that we work. We are always looking for ways to involve children, young people and their parents/guardians in planning and reviewing the activities we offer. We also work hard to ensure that everyone who works at and with Famous 4.15 is able to provide feedback on the organisation and its work at any time.
